Heatwave Items Desperately Needed For Street Homeless

Home / Blog / Heatwave Items Desperately Needed For Street Homeless

We reported a few weeks back that our rough sleepers struggle with sunburn. They are unable to sit in their tents when it is very sunny as they can become unbearably hot inside. We asked that as the weather improves, we were looking please for donations of suncream. During this heatwave, the street homeless suffer terribly from sunburn and dehydration. We are appealing again for sun screen, after sun, water carriers, water bottles and wet wipes. Our stocks have run out! Please, please help!

Whilst so many of us enjoy the sun and look forward to it, the street homeless dread it.
