The PowerPlus Bat is a compact, lightweight wind-up head torch.
The Bat is about the size of an egg and has 3 powerful LED’s to provide illumination. Inside is a 3.6V 80 mAh NiMH rechargeable battery to store your wind-up energy for future use.
A quick 1 minute wind (at 3 rev per second) will allow the Bat to operate in 1 LED or Flash mode for 90 minutes and 3 LED mode for 40 minutes. When fully charged the PowerPlus Bat is able to deliver up to 5 hours illumination with 3 LEDs.
The simple, rubberised on/off button has a positive action and cycles the unit through three different modes (1 LED / 3 LED / Flash) to ensure that your charge lasts as long as possible.
The head bracket swivels to allow directed illumination and the elasticated straps are fully adjustable to ensure a firm, yet comfortable fit.
For maximum flexibility, the Bat is also supplied with a bicycle mount – which could also be used to fix the Bat to a pole, tube or pipe of up to 25 mm diameter. The torch unit clicks easily into place and can be removed for security.
