Simon - Session Volunteer

“It’s Wednesday evening, -2 degrees, the Xmas lights are on and I’m standing in the centre of Newbury with the most amazing bunch of volunteers. On the menu tonight is sausage and pasta with the obligatory serving of soup (roasted vegetable) and loads of other edible goodies. As well as food tonight we’ve given out gloves, hats, socks, thermal bottoms, toilet roll and shower vouchers to those that need it most….and that is just one night out of 365.

 Although a very recent volunteer I have found something I can only try my very best to understand and find each session so rewarding in so many ways.”
